From a business perspective why would you want a site that excludes potential customers?
Whether you use one of our web design packages or we custom design your site we will make sure that your site works for your site visitor whether they visit using a web browser on a late model computer, a pocket pc or an assistive technology device.
Are you on a computer with a high screen resolution relative to the physical size such as the current Dell Latitudes with 1600x1200 or HP with 1400x1050 on a 15" screen, or Toshiba Tablet PCs with 1400x1050 on a 12.1" screen?
Have you ever visited a site and been unable to read the content because the font size was too small and it when you tried to increase the text size using Internet Explorer's View | Text Size | Larger it didn't work?
How about at a hotel using the TV based browser? Or on your Pocket PC/Palm Pilot at Starbucks or other hotspot?
Many people when you say a site is accessible think, but I don't have any blind customers. What they don't realize is that accessibility includes more than just the blind. All of the above are examples of accessibility issues that can affect the ability of a visitor to use your site.
While your site may not be required to comply with accessibility legislation such as § 508 why discourage any visitor. Then there is the issue of the Americans With Disabilities Act or ADA. While so far only no private business has lost a lawsuit based on the ADA that maybe changing.
